Basic Philosophy
Under the Sanki Engineering Group Human Rights Policy, established in April 2022, we will respect the human rights of all people in all our business activities, including throughout the supply chain, eliminate discrimination and acts that undermine individual dignity, and conduct human rights due diligence (identifying, preventing, and addressing impacts on human rights).

We will respect the human rights of all people in all our business activities, including throughout the supply chain, eliminate discrimination and acts that undermine individual dignity, and conduct human rights due diligence (which identifies, prevents, and addresses impacts on human rights).
- We will ensure that all people in all workplaces are able to work safely and in a healthy manner.
- We will not engage in discrimination based on sex, age, place of origin, nationality, race, ethnicity, principles, religion, physical characteristics, or disability, or engage in acts that undermine the dignity of individuals.
- We will eliminate child labor and forced labor.
- We will consider the impact on the human rights of local communities and individuals and engage in dialogue with stakeholders regarding the risk of violation of human rights.
- We will eliminate harassment (including, but not limited to, sexual harassment, power harassment, and harassment related to pregnancy, childbirth, child care, and family care leave) from our workplace and prevent it from worsening the workplace environment.
- We will respect the privacy, individuality, and diversity of each individual and strive for harmony between work and life.
- We will conduct human rights due diligence.
- We will work on education to respect human rights.
- We will disclose our human rights activities in a timely and appropriate manner.
- We will comply with relevant laws and regulations and respect international codes of conduct, including the International Bill of Human Rights, the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, the Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.

Human Rights Issues
The Sanki Engineering Group identified the human rights risks associated with our Group's businesses and selected the following human rights issues.
These human rights issues will be reviewed as appropriate based on changes in our Group's businesses and social conditions.
- Respect for individual dignity
- Discrimination based on sex, age, place of origin, nationality, race, ethnicity, creed, religion, physical characteristics, disability, disease, sexual orientation, employment status, etc.
- Human rights problems in advertisements such as websites, commercials, and booklets
- Discrimination caused by unconscious bias
- Respect for workers' rights
- Harassment
- Long working hours and excessive overtime work
- Deficiencies in employee health and mental health measures
- Non-payment of extra wages
- Infringement of the rights of foreign workers (technical intern trainees)
- Human rights violations (e.g. forced labor and child labor) that should be considered in the supply chain (e.g. use of foreign products, etc.)
- Respect for privacy
- Leakage of personal information
- Online defamation

Human Rights Promotion System
The Risk Management Committee (Compliance Risk Subcommittee), chaired by the president, identifies human rights issues within the Group and works to prevent and correct them. Progress in its efforts and other matters are reported to the Risk Management Committee.
Human Rights Due Diligence
We are committed to respecting human rights by conducting human rights due diligence based on identified risks related to the Group's business throughout the supply chain, upstream to downstream.

Whistleblower Hotline and Consultation Service for Human Rights Issues
A whistleblower hotline and consultation service for human rights issues are made available for use by all employees of the Group as well as those at its subcontractors and supply chain members, with the information posted on the Company's website. Reporters will not be placed at a disadvantage for consulting or reporting issues, and any personally identifiable information will be protected.
