CSR Basic Policy
For Sustainable Development of the Sanki Engineering Group
The fundamental philosophy on CSR of the Company Group is to contribute to society through its business activities in compliance with social norms as a good corporate citizen. Therefore, the Company values communications with stakeholders to receive social requests in an accurate manner. Under the belief that compliance with such philosophy and value enables the Sanki Engineering Group to sustainably develop as a company trusted by its customers as well as society, the Company has established its corporate ethics system (compliance system).
The Company has established the Sanki Engineering Group Compliance Declaration and the Sanki Engineering Group Conduct Standards by making revisions to the Conduct Standards on Business for Public Agencies. This implementation is, under the recent changing circumstances surrounding companies, to comply with applicable laws and regulations not only in the area of business for public agencies but also in business areas of the Company Group, and to develop its business activities in terms of the corporate ethics and in accordance with the Code of Conduct and the Action Guidelines.
In this Declaration, the Company acknowledges its responsibility to act as a fair and free competitor, and to act at its sole discretion in performing bidding activities. Also, the Company declares that it shall comply with matters listed in the Sanki Engineering Group Conduct Standards in good faith.
Compliance with Code of Conduct and Action Guidelines
How should the executive officers and employees of the Company Group act in compliance with corporate ethics? The basic policy is provided for in the Code of Conduct, and more specific matters to be complied with are presented in the Action Guidelines.
The Company believes that its group can fulfill socially expected responsibilities by complying with the Code of Conduct and the Action Guidelines, and by familiarizing all executive officers and employees with compliance awareness.
Corporate Ethics Hotline
The Company has established the Corporate Ethics Hotline as a notification contact point within and outside the Company. The Hotline has handled cases so notified with due care for the protection of individuals who have consulted or notified it and strived to resolve such cases in a prompt manner.
In order to familiarize a wide spectrum of people with the Hotline, the Company has displayed posters in offices and sites of its group, and distributed cards on which the contact number is printed to all executive officers and employees of the group.
